Memory.

During these consecutive holidays, I read the novel written by Takayoshi Honda.
It's been a while since last time I read his book, but it turned out that without doubt this novel brought me a very warm,
heart-touching feeling....

I have been his fan since I was a college student. When I read his book at first, I fell into his world quite smoothly but
at the same time I was also surprised at his nature or specialty to attract me with his very carefully selected words and expressions...

His style is not so exaggerated, instead, he proceeds his story based on well balanced approach in terms of both interesting characters
with sense of humor and intellectual, rational ways of thinking... he is actually so smart and his logic is completely flawless...
That kind of his approach feels so persuasive and thus I understood well every time after I finish reading his book...

Anyway, as to the novel, I felt that Morino, whose parents passed away due to accident when she is 18 years old,
is so straightforward and she doesn't escape from the fact and her decision even if the result of her decision would bring her
bothering, unfavorable outcome. She doesn't try to gain someone's favor, instead she keeps being responsible of what she chose.
Such clear and clean style attracts the people around her, including Kanda, who spent his life very closely to her life, both
physically and mentally.

As to first story, the words in a capsule, I remembered that once I put my love into the original songs that I created and took it to the one I loved...
The story was very funny. Actually the accident, someone threw a stone into the glass of entrance of Morino's home and the glass got clacked,
was proved to be due to it that the cupsule with a love letter inside was tried to be thrown into the window of 2nd floor where Morino lived.
When I was very young, I gave Minidisc or tape or CDs that included my songs to girls I liked, especially when telling how I confessed my love...
Sometimes it worked very well but most of the times it was ruined with destructive consequences... In youth time, I think anybody has such
funny story, so many failures due to too optimistic mind or just attacking without thinking negative results...
Not only Kand'sa towards Morino, but also Yo's towards Jun, their love that had not been reached for a long time felt heart-warming...
Yo stopped being nice to Jun as Yo liked her since 4th grade of elementary school... but Jun didn't understand why Yo suddenly treated
Jun not friendlily... Maybe most of people have tha same experience, how to behave in front of the one we feel special...

One of the five short stories, a circle, the third one, I sympasized with the main character Anego, who takes her role at the compamy
she used to work before she got mental illness, as she was fed up with corporate restructuring while she survived during the tough,
downturn period of economic cycle... I experienced that the process of restructuring went through so many farewells with
the senior colleagues and contractors.... not only Anego but also I understand that without such initiative, the company
would not be able to go forward with less capital to pursue more effectiveness and efficiency, but in actual world,
the people promote such initiative must need to be paitient to say so many farewells to the people we know very well...
Such time is quite heart breaking and very tough to keep looking forward everyday.... I didn't experience mental illness but I understand
how hard such experience is.....Anego told her experiences to Morino as she would be the only one who can listen to calmly and objectively
without sympathy, which would not necessarily be grateful for anybody. Sometimes too much sympathy is just bothering for someone.
Such talk cured Anego mentally and she even laughed at what Morino told when they remembered their youth days...

And the last story, memory, I found how strongly Kanda wanted to support Morino when she threw her math teacher down to the floor from upstairs.
He believed that she mustn't have done with evil intention, but there must have been some reasons that made her do so.
The fact behind the accident turned out by the nurse, Mika, who was a classmate as Morino, that she witnessed that the math teacher tried to rape
Morino but then Morino did Tomoenage, a famous technique to throw a man, and she asked Mika not to tell anyone what happened actually.
According to Mika's guess, Morino didn't want to let the truth known by Kanda as he wouldn't be able to understand such senior man felt specially about
one of the girls in high school... Morino didn't want to admit that there was such one that feels Morino as one of women, not mere girls...
Abruptly, Mika witnessed that Morino and Kanda went out of the hospital where she works as a nurse. They held their baby in their arms and
Mika recognized that the strong tie between them finally bore fruit as a form of family....

I have recently aggressively sought for the materials that can inspire me so much, especially novels and movies...
I created some pieces of brandnew tunes, however, I couldn't imagine how I wanted to express in lyrics...
Fortunately I hit on some phrases musically, so I just need to accumulate those materials and in the near future
I would complete my brandnew tune...

Thanks,
